Adam J. Shafran became an associate at Rudolph Friedmann LLP in 2013 after several years as a partner in a Dedham employment law firm. Adam handles prevailing wage litigation matters brought on behalf of workers in a variety of industries including construction, sewer maintenance, school bus transportation, catch basin cleaning, heavy equipment operation, garbage and recycling collection, and tree removal and trimming.
Adam has successfully litigated overtime disputes, minimum wage violations, meal break violations, tip statute violations, independent contractor misclassifications, non-compete agreement disputes, breaches of employment contracts and employment discrimination cases.
Attorney Shafran received his law degree cum laude from New England School of Law in 2007 and his B.A. from the University of Iowa. Before joining Ellis & Shafran, Mr. Shafran served as a Massachusetts Superior Court law clerk, where he worked closely with a number of Superior Court judges. Adam is an avid Chicago sports fan and an ardent Chicago Cubs fan.
